Vladimir Shulyak

Vladimir was destined to become a chef – since the age of six he had been helping his grandmother to make dumplings at one of Kiev’s restaurants, where she worked as a chef. At 19 he started doing his favorite job professionaly – at River Palace Complex’s Le Jardine restaurant. At 22 he was employed as Chef at O’Briens Irish Pub.
In 2009 he opened his own restaurant in Kiev, three years later he also opened a bar in his hometown. Vladimir has worked with famous Chefs – Joel Robuchon, Bruno Goussault, Peter Bruscet and others. In 2008 he began his collaboration with Ginza Project – Vladimir took active role in opening MariVanna in St. Petersburg. Today, Vladimir Shulyak is a brand-Chef – and the main reason why MariVanna Baku has received gleaming reviews from its guests. “I have really enjoyed this wonderful southern city. I wanted to do something good for its residents.
And the best thing a Chef can do – make good food!” – says Vladimir.
