    About the restaurant

    Step inside and try to control yourself: there is a cafe in the first hall, which is so good to have a cup of cappuccino with eclairs famous throughout St. Petersburg. They are here in every taste and color: with custard, hazelnut, mango and passion fruit, chocolate, strawberry - it is impossible to stop tasting these flavours.

    But sweet life is not the only thing this place has to offer: you can see an open kitchen from the entrance, where the chefs are spinning like squirrels in the wheels and polished pans and pots are pleasantly shining.  Like a multicolored ribbon, the marble countertop goes to the far hall, where retro chairs and ocher sofas are arranged around the tables. The restaurant design was created by Megre Interiors agency, highly valued both in Russia and internationally. Exquisite beauty of the halls continues on the plates.

    On the main menu Alexander Belkovich presents a balanced combination of Peruvian nikkei rolls, street food and seafood. The chef also arranges gastronomic tours around the countries and regions of the world, presenting one or two special menus per season. Bali or Peru, one can only guess the destination of the next culinary trip. Undoubtedly there are a lot of amazing and unique features about Belkovich’s restaurant: wheat extract, the sprouts of which are growing right there in the hall, fresh juice with chlorophyll, vitamins and minerals is a real energy bomb!

    One of the most promising young chefs in Saint Petersburg knows how to turn any dish into a hit. In his hands, a simple meal turns into an exquisite gastronomic masterpiece.

    Alexander Belkovich recalls his first culinary experiences with a smile: aged six, he prepared a homemade yogurt and a sandwich made of the "Darnitsky" bread and sausages. Only after the ninth grade at school, he started seriously considering a chef’s career, and – having moved to Moscow – he began conquering the capital’s restaurants. Under guidance of experienced mentors, the future chef learned the basics of culinary art at the Correa's chain of restaurants – which became his main school. Soon after, the promising chef was invited to run the kitchen of the new Terassa restaurant. Thats how Alexander’s path within the Ginza Project began.

    Alexander won international chef competitions and has authored two books on gastronomy. He says that success in the culinary art largely depends on one’s appetite. 

    “I really like to eat. Simply love it. Of course, now I taste food differently, but I have always loved to eat. It was due to my love of food that my career kicked off”
