About the restaurant

Our guests will enjoy the vintage and cozy interior design of the Jonjoli restaurants, dominated by soft colors and natural materials, as well as comfortable furniture. Guests will be met by the aroma of freshly-baked tortillas and Lavash bread, coming from a tandoor oven just across the entrance. The majority of the Georgian cuisine dishes on the menu are well-known by gourmets – various kebabs made at a fireplace positioned in the middle of the restaurant, several types of Khachapuri – and guests can witness the cooking process too.

The restaurants exclusive feature is the Jonjoli appetizer – marinated closed flower buds with red onions, cilantro and olive oil.

Only at Jonjoli we serve the legendary Logidze refreshments – in a kiosk styled as nostalgic Soviet-style “Pivo-Vody” machines. The cozy Jonjoli restaurant has one of the largest summer terraces in Moscow, completely covered by trees. It is constantly attracts the noisiest companies of Muscovites and guests of the capital city.

The traditional Ginza Project group highest quality of products combines with affordable prices at the Jonjoli restaurants: Chakhokhbili – 290 rubles, Adzapsandal – 230 rubles, Lamb kebab – 450 rubles. Quite often you can see the restaurant’s co-owner – the Uma Thurman band’s singer Vladimir Kristovskiy – at the restaurant. Big fan of Georgian feasts, Vladimir often dines here with friends after concerts.

Rusiko Shamatava began her career as a cook at the Jonjoli restaurant, and now she is its Chef as well as the group’s brand-Chef on production technologies. She develops and tracks down the quality of cooking alongside the group’s brand-Chef Iso Dzandzava.

Rusiko did not expect to find herself at a professional kitchen. She had been building a successful career in management and administrative parts of the restaurant business, which allows her now – as a Chef – to effectively track down the quality and technologies of recipes, as well as managing the Jonjoli’s large team. “It’s safe to say that the cook’s profession was both unexpected and predetermined for me. People cook very well in Georgia, and I’m not an exception – I love cooking since childhood, - she says. – Now that I cook for many guests, this profession has consumed me, taking all my thoughts and time. I am very passionate about our cuisine, very attentive to work of every restaurant in our chain. 

It’s very important to me that all of our guests, having tried dishes on our menu, would be happy and would want to come back to us all over again – like to a home, where they are always welcome! We try very hard and are very scrupulous about our recipes and developments. There are no pre-made elements – everything, including sauces like Adzhika and Tkhemali, we cook at our Moscow kitchens. We have our own smokehouses, tandoor ovens, where we bake fragrant bread, tortillas and Khachapuri”.

Rusiko invests here warmth and care into every restaurant of the Jonjoli chain. Incredibly cozy and hospitable, they attract with their aromas of freshly-baked-bread and spices, which are richly used in variety of Georgian dishes made upon Rusiko Shamatava’s family recipes.
