About the project
Since 2010, the "Nevskiy 8" building has been part of the Ginza Project group. Today, the two hundred square meter space houses a
shop, an art gallery and a cafe, accumulating experience and inspiration of
previous generations of the "Nevskiy 8".
The shop’s assortment has now expanded significantly: not
only can you find all kinds of accessories for professional painting on its
shelves, but also products of local designers and books on theory of art.
The gallery occupies the larger part of the space. Its format is a combination of classical traditions and modern international trends
of the art market. You are guaranteed to get to the place where the exhibitions
alternate on a monthly basis, including the works of St. Petersburg’s renowned
painters, as well as those of young talented artists.
Any painting can be purchased without leaving the hall. A
small caf? with extensive menu of hot and cold drinks and pastries also
operates at the “Nevskiy 8”. It is always quiet and never filled with cigarette
smoke. The place would be a great choice for a business breakfast or a date night.
The “Nevskiy 8” hosts many events – exhibitions, screenings. There is a
designated educational area. Professional painters hold individual
master-classes on painting, art experts provide lectures on culture and art,
open master-classes and festivals of European format are regularly held.
