About the restaurant
Steak by Steak is a restaurant on the 4th floor of Galeria shopping mall. These interiors will make you feel like a character of spaghetti western: rough leather curtains, footlights shining on the wooden tables, cozy leather sofas are arranged by the walls. Come here with your family after shopping or for a romantic date, even for a loud bachelor party, there is enough place for everyone.
The main events take place in a large open kitchen, where you can watch a true cooking show from morning to evening: chicken barbecue and juicy filet mignon are being cooked on American grill, pizza with ham and mushrooms is getting ready in the oven, and California is being rolled at the Japanese station. There is food from all over the world in the menu of Steak by Steak. Choose what you like best, veal with tuna sauce or cobb salad with chicken? Signature marbled beef burger or pho bo with beef and cilantro? Tiger prawns fried with garlic or squid with aioli sauce? Order a drink for this gastronomic abundance, craft beer or wine at very reasonable prices. Leave some space for dessert, carrot cake and grilled bananas with marshmallow are on the sweet list. There is a wooden house for the youngest guests, where children are free to play and they can ride a cow, which looks almost like a real animal! And of course there is a special menu - octopus sausages, children’s Olivie salad and a chocolate milkshake.

Vadim comes from the warm city of Sochi. Thanks to his crafty mother, he has always loved to eat good food and never had any hesitations as to what profession he should choose – he started his gastronomic education straight after school. He had only top marks in college, graduating as a top-class Chef.
In 1998 Vadim moved to St. Petersburg, where he got his 1st job at the city’s only Kosher restaurant – the Shalom. After that he had worked as a sous-chef at Hotel Oktyabrskaya, then as Chef at the Novyi Khutor restaurant. After that he had been in charge of kitchens at the Primus and the Staryi Prichal restaurants for six years. In 2010 he was appointed as Chef at the Moskva restaurant
Vadim Sklyarov specializes in Russian and European cuisines. He contributed to creation of the MariVanna restaurants in London and Los Angeles.
