Dvor Pomidor

About the restaurant

“Dvor Pomidor” is a spacy restaurant at the “Piter Raduga” mall. An atrium-yard, to be precise. All colors of a rainbow embark on a dance here – green jungles stand next to white walls, street lights are wrapped in pearls. Its magic for young and old – “Dvor Pomidor” is a family restaurant. Why “Dvor”? Because we make our first steps in one, that’s where we have our first kiss and strike the first guitar chord.  Why “Pomidor?”. Because its red and pretty.

Are you tired shopping in the “Raduga” mall or just hungry? Look for direction signs to “Dvor Pomidor”. We have everything! The cuisine we offer is oriental in all its richness – particular feast for those who relish food from the Caucasus. All to suit every taste – spicy hot kharcho soup, khinkali with fragrant broth, nourishing thick Piti and a variety of smoking kebabs for a large company.

If you seat yourself on a high chair by the open kitchen and the tandoor, you can witness brown lavash bread taken out of the red-hot oriental oven – while munching on pilaf or kuchmachi, complemented by ripe pomegranate. Tomatoes are used all over – in Georgia-style turkey, stuffed with beef and fragrant spices, added to salad with tarragon sauce and complement the khachapuri. The dessert you’d never try anywhere else – and of course it’s made of tomatoes.

Chef

Kitchens at the group’s six Georgian restaurants are under the watchful eye of the caring and hospitable Iso Dzandzava. She knows how to keep the traditions of the Georgian gastronomic culture alive and how to make every dish unique

Iso Dzandzava

Chef

Despite that Iso Dzandzava has never been taught how to cook professionally, she has developed her own vision and taste of Georgian cuisine. Having received medical education, she could not imagine that she would never become a doctor.

Now Iso is the Chef at the group’s ten restaurants.  She embarked upon the culinary path in the early childhood — her mother and grandmother let her in on secrets of cooking delicious food.

She also exclusively implements her own home recipes into restaurants’ menus.  “I was brought up in a family where seniors and children were respected and where  guests were always welcome. All my childhood I watched how my mother and my grandmother did their best to cook something special, and I liked it very much. I have preserved these recipes and now I use them».
